Clinical Director

Dr Jonathan Lambley is the current Medical Director of the network. He joins us after serving for 6 months as interim Clinical Governance Lead and then interim Clinical Director for a year. His background extends beyond the medical field. He was a physiotherapist in Brighton and spent 13 years in South Wales Police as Special Constable operating in Response Policing; Neighbourhood Operations and the Western Roads Policing Unit. Jon is also an Emergency Medicine Consultant in Morriston Hospital.

He has a keen interest in pre-hospital care; managing the critically injured and unwell; resuscitation and human factors and has volunteered for MEDSERVE. Strategically Jon has an interest in streamlining services, ensuring longevity through robust initiatives and collaborative working with partner agencies. Having completed the 3D leadership programme this year Jon continually strives to improve both himself and the network.
