Lead Allied Healthcare Professional

Kate Jones is the Lead Allied Healthcare Professional for the South Wales Trauma Network. Kate graduated from University of Wales College of Medicine as a physiotherapist in 2001. Since qualifying Kate has worked across South Wales specialising in neurological conditions. Her area of clinical interests are traumatic brain injuries, neurosurgery and more recently Polytrauma.

Kate has been involved in research to improve the care of patients who have had blunt chest trauma and this forms part of her teaching portfolio.

Kate is passionate about ensuring that Major Trauma patients receive the rehabilitation they require to ensure they maximise their potential post injury.
